Abstract

Reviewing/Critiquing Parenting Plan & Timesharing Evaluations

(now referred to as Parenting Plan & Timesharing evaluations)

This workshop is designed to help attorneys to become more knowledgeable about what the state of the art in child custody evaluations demands.  Participants will learn about the most common errors of commission and omissions that even the most experienced evaluators make.  We will focus on the peer review process and learn what reviewers would be looking for in custody evaluations.  A special emphasis will be on seeking indicators of bias. Participants will be given a handy evaluation tool for them or their assistants to use in reviewing a custody report.  This workshop is filled with valuable information participants can use immediately.

Robert A. Evans, Ph.D.

Dr. Evans has has his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Evaluation from The Catholic University of America.  He is a licensed School Psychologist, Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, FL Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and Parenting Coordinator.  He created the only internet based child custody evaluation system that generates the essential components of a legal report.  He has been conducting child custody evaluations since 1993.  See his resume on this site.
